I graduated with a Diploma in Podiatry in 1989, from the Central Institute of Technology in Heretaunga, Upper Hutt, NZ.

To expand my knowledge and develop my skills as a healer, I am qualified in various complementary modalities including:
Spiritual Healing – National Federation of Spiritual Healers (NZ) Inc. Full Healer 1998
Relaxation Massage – Certificate in Relaxation Massage – Reflexology option (NZCM) 2001
Papers in Counselling Theory 1999, Interpersonal Relating, Loss Grief and Dying 2005 (Open Polytechnic)
Certificate in Adult Teaching (Level 5) Wintec 2007.

In 2010 I commenced my journey with the First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® and in 2013 graduated with a Diploma in New Zealand Native Flower Essence Therapy and became a Registered Practitioner and Tutor.
I have taught First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® in-class workshops in Timaru and Nelson and I currently teach in Westport, Dunedin and Christchurch. I practice First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand® therapy at my clinic in Christchurch, New Zealand. I am the only tutor in the South Island, New Zealand, offering face-to-face workshops.

In 2018 I reconnected with Reflexology and in 2019 qualified with a Diploma in Reflexology from the Canterbury School of Reflexology. I am a member of the Southern Reflex Group.

From 2021 to the present day I have been undertaking various trainings in Hypnotique Protocol Esoteric Hypnotherapy® – hypnotherapy for the mind, body, soul and spirit and HypnoSuccess® Soul Coach© Master Keys to Success© – The Sacred Art of Shamanic Life Coaching for the Soul©.
